At Dunmore East Sea School we offer informal, one to one, sailing lessons. You can choose to sail your own dinghy or use one of ours.

Whether it’s your first time sailing or you’re just brushing up on certain skills, we are here to help. By the end of your first lesson you will be able to helm the dinghy and know the basics of sail setting. The beauty of dinghy lessons at Dunmore East Sea School is that you have your own personal instructor on hand for the duration of the lesson which can be tailored to suit your individual needs. I took the RYA CEVNI assesment with the Dunmore East Sea School, and I can’t imagine it could have gone any smoother than this. Later when I wanted to apply for the ICC certificate with the ISA, I realised they don’t accept RYA assesments, but Robert saved the day and helped me with all the formalities.

After some time dinghy sailing and cruiser racing I felt it was time to do a course in order to prepare me for some cruising. I found that Day Skipper theory course made me more aware of all the elements of passage planning as well as all the safety implications on board.
